The Encore Plus does both and adds real bass management — a sub out with AutoSense, honest 48Hz extension without one — so it works as the hub of a small system, not just a pair of speakers. Powered two-way speakers that replace a stack of separates: 100 watts to each woofer, 20 to each tweeter, a DSP crossover, and enough inputs to be the hub of a small system — USB, optical, coaxial, Bluetooth, and analog, plus a subwoofer output with AutoSense.
