Beautifully built, and it sounds like it — this is the best-sounding thing Apple makes. The problems are everything around the sound: heavy on the head, no real power switch, wired listening needs a dongle, and most features only work with Apple devices. If you're deep in the ecosystem and want the nicest object in the category, fair enough. Most people are better served by the Sony or the Sennheiser.
